New Life to an old blog……

I originally started this blog to be a place to explore and expand my created thoughts and photography. A place that I could just be an artist, where I could post personal work and photography that I do just for the love of it. Well I personally think it started that way then took a turn in a few other directions. I began posting work photography and not personal photography and that’s just not what I wanted to do with this blog. I eventually took some time away from this blog as you can see from the date of my last post and started a new blog that is dedicated to my portrait photography business www.Tanayiakooncephoto.com and that has been developing the way I want it to so now is the time for me to spend more time working on more personal work and blogging here the way I want. This will hopefully be a space for me to develop myself as an artist and not just a photographer. Hopefully this blog will inspire me to wake earlier and take full advantage of what the day has to offer and whatever inspires me to create. I will hopefully shoot more film, bake more cookies and share light hearted images to brighten my own days as well as bloggers and blog readers alike.

Fall Favorites!

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love wearing layers and wrapping a scarf around my neck to make me feel warm and cozy :) ! It makes me enjoy a warm cup of Joe even more If that's at all possible, Fruity pebble colored leaves sprinkled about make me want to get lost in my daydreams. I find myself curling up more with a good book and baking cookies and Cinnamon filled treats that stinks the house up so good & drives my beagles hound dog noise crazy. One of the very best parts about fall is that it leads to the holidays which means spending time with my family......

I am what I would like to think, a truly blessed auntie, god mommy, step mommy and the list goes on. There's nothing that melts my heart more than the love and laughter that children bring into my life, and there are plenty of nieces, nephews, step-kids, god-children, cousins and I guess you get it little ones in my life.
I love to see them in there own little worlds with all there innocence just enjoying life without the worries and drama that being an adult can bring so here are some images that lighten my heart and allow me if only for a brief moment remember being a child at play..................

Long needed update.........

Ok first I want to apologize for being a bad blogger. I haven't posted anything since Minnnie's first birthday, so much has been going on keeping me busy along with braking my promise to myself to post daily :) (ok often) and my supportive family is still playing interested :) so it's time to get back in it! This was supposed to be my daily break for myself, my time to tap into my artistic side and enjoy what photography does for my soul. Well I haven't been taking my daily Whoo-Sa moment and  boy doI feel it down to my bones. Well the storm came and went and not without the click of my shutter. So here's what I've been up to........

Puppy Love.......

Out one day on one of our dailey walks I see a women coming towards us dressed in a business suit carry packages, she was most likely on her way home from work as the women got closer you could see that she seemed to be carry some kind of weight on her shoulders. When she got right in front of us she stops dead in her tracks and ask if she could pet Minnie (of course she could!) the women drops down in the middle of the sidewalk indian style business suit and all and played with Minnie for a few minutes before she walked away she graciously thanked me by saying " I was having a really bad day and your puppy just made me feel a 100% better" at that moment I seemed to connect with her on some level and understood exactley how she felt in that moment because Minnie has brightened many days gone wrong for me with all her Puppy Love....Dogs can do wonderful things for the soul! Today I celebrate Minnie's 1st birthday and all her puppy love.
